Black floral dresses

What are floral dresses?

Floral dresses come in a variety of floral prints, shapes and colours. Everything from bold red poppies and roses to delicate, smaller ditsy prints that come in more delicate styles.

Floral dresses can add a feminine edge to your wardrobe, as well as bringing colour and prints too.

Who should wear floral dresses?

The beauty of floral dresses is they can work for everyone and flatter every shape, and they can be a great way to show off your personal style whilst making the most of your figure too.

As a general rule, a medium floral print will work for lean figures, those wanting to flatter their hourglass shape or to add
detail to a more athletic frame. Use a larger floral print where you want to make things seem larger and draw attention to areas, such as your décolletage with a floral bardot dress. Choose a smaller floral print
when you want something to appear smaller, which can be great for concealing areas you don’t feel comfortable about, and can work on a style like a wrap floral dress.

When should I wear floral dresses?

Floral dresses are adaptable for so many occasions that you can wear them to the office, the bar, out with your friends for brunch and even to a wedding!

Embrace a floral shift dress for work that can be perfect for even the most
corporate of dress codes. Or pick up a cocktail floral dress for a style that looks great for drinks with friends as
well as date nights too.

For a wedding, a floral dress is a great choice, and perfect for the mother of the bride to feel her best in or as a great choice as a wedding guest too.

Floral dresses can also work as great beach dresses too, and look great thrown over a bikini and styled with sandals and sunglasses. Whether it’s ditsy prints or big and floral, floral printed dresses are a perfect summer outfit choice as well as being easy to turn to in autumn and winter too.

How should I wear floral dresses? What pairs well with floral dresses?

Floral dresses can be easily dressed up or dressed down, and they can work well with
pieces in your wardrobe including your favourite leather biker jacket, a knit cardigan or even your favourite cosy jumper.

Your floral dress can be a standout piece on its own, and you can add simple accessories to make it the focus of your outfit. Pair your favourite floral
dress with simple jewellery for an understated look or pair a bold colour like a red floral dress with equally bold colours and create a bright eye catching outfit.

Floral dresses work well with footwear so wear trainers or ankle boots for an easy casual floral dress style that works for brunch, running errands or hanging out with friends. Or swap the sneakers for heels or knee-high boots for a dressier look that’s perfect for date night and going out for drinks.
